Plowing will only be done when roadway snowfall accumulation reaches 3 inches or more. For less than 3 inches of roadway snowfall accumulation, a mixture of salt (to melt ice) and sand (to provide traction) will be applied to primary streets only.

For icy or slick conditions, a mixture of salt (to melt ice) and sand (to provide traction) will be applied to primary streets only.

PLOWING:

Priority Step 1: NE, SE, NW & NE Crews plow priority streets on their assigned route.

Secondary Step: NE, SE, NW, NE Crews plow all remaining streets on their assigned routes (secondary streets) after priority streets have been successfully completed.

T-17 plow alleys after priority 1 route has been successfully completed.

Third Step: Plow back to curb where needed. Plow any areas missed or deemed necessary.

Removal of snow from downtown area.

Sidewalk, Snow, &/or Ice Maintenance: Will be initiated when conditions warrant.
