Subject: New Stores in Easton

I heard you'd like some feedback on whether Easton residents would like to

see more stores in town.

Having moved here from Iowa just 6 months ago, I find the variety offered in

Easton is very poor.

I am putting in my vote to increase the variety of stores Easton has to

offer. In particular, I'd like to see some competition for the Wal-Mart

store such as a Target store. I've heard that TJ Max and Marshalls have

expressed an interest in Easton and think they would be good additions.

Most of the feedback I've heard concerns increased traffic problems. My

experience is that we already have traffic problems. These problems can be

dealt with. Increased revenue from brining in shoppers would only benefit

the city. I just hate to have to go out of town to do my serious shopping.

Having more variety in town would be great.
