I wanted to write in support of lifting the moratorium. I feel and have

expressed this to Tom Hamilton that Easton should have an enclosed mall

rather than to have shopping centers spread from one end of town to the

other. I would prefer doing my shopping locally but I'm unable because of

the lack selection that is available. If a marketer wants to come to town

and build a large store to provide what the buying public wants then they

shoud be allowed to do so.

All you have to do is look at the earnings per share of Lowe's or Home Depot

and it's easy to figure out that these types of companies are not going to

spend money on anything that won't give a return. Easton's going to grow

and I think the Town Council should realize this and make sure they control

it and not stick their head in the sand.
