Subject: Listen to our own residents

The small town assets of Easton and the natural endowments of the surrounding area could easily be lost to large retail development. The country is filled with tales of the large development promises that turned hospitable communities into residential, traffic and environmental disasters. I urge the Town and the Planning and Zoning Commission to listen closely to the residents of the area, particularly the environmental and preservation groups who commit time and energy helping our community remain a land of pleasant living.
