Also in attendance were the Town Manager Mr. Karge, Town Attorney Mr. Kehoe and Town Clerk Mrs. Ruf.
At 11:17 a.m., the President of the Council, Mr. Ford called the meeting to order.
AMENDED EMERGENCY ORDINANCE NO. 514, “AN AMENDED EMERGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF EASTON AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF A PROMISSORY NOTE IN A PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF $976,000 PAYABLE TO THE TALBOT BANK OF EASTON, MARYLAND FOR THE PUBLIC PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FINANCING CAPITAL PROJECTS FOR THE TOWN OF EASTON AND PLEDGING THE FULL FAITH AND CREDIT AND TAXING AUTHORITY OF THE TOWN OF EASTON TO THE REPAYMENT OF SAME.”
The President of the Council brought Ordinance No. 514 to the floor for a vote.
Upon motion by Mr. Wendowski seconded by Mr. Ford and carried, Ordinance No. 514 passed unanimously following a roll call vote of those members present.
ADJOURNMENT
Upon motion by Mr. Wendowski seconded by Ms. Jackson-Amis and carried unanimously; the President of the Council adjourned the special emergency scheduled meeting at 11:40a.m.
