TOWN OF EASTON, MARYLAND CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION

TIME & PLACE:  September 18, 2006, 8:39 p.m., Town Council’s Chambers.

PURPOSE: to consult with counsel to obtain legal advice, consider the acquisition of real property for a public purpose and matters directly related thereto, and consider a matter that concerns the proposal for a business or industrial organization to locate, expand, or remain in the State.

CITATION: § 10-508(7), (3), (4).

PRESENT AT CONVENING: Mayor Robert C. Willey, President of the Council Mr. Ford, Ms. Scott-Taylor, Mr. Jensen, Mr. Wendowski and Ms. Jackson-Amis. Also in attendance were the Town Clerk Robert Karge, Town Attorney Mr. Kehoe, and Talbot County Economic Development Director Ms. Paige Bethke.

Mr. Bond discussed the Clifton annexation.

Ms. Bethke departed at 9:07 p.m.

The Town Attorney discussed developers’ projects and multiple postponements.

The Town Attorney briefed on the Port Street condominium unit.

Ms. Scott-Taylor departed the meeting at 9:38 p.m.

Mr. Bond discussed a request for exchange of property.

Upon motion by Mr. Wendowski, seconded by Mr. Jensen and carried unanimously, the President of the Council adjourned the Executive Session at 9:45 p.m.
