Police Board Meeting

Also in attendance were Kathy Ruf for Town Clerk Robert Karge, Major David Spencer, Town Attorney Mr. Kehoe, Assistant to the Town Engineer Mr. Brian Hause and Mr. Finith E. Jernigan, AIA, Architecture Planning 4Site Systems, Design Atlantic.
At 6:15 p.m., the President of the Council called the meeting to order.
BUILDING EXPANSION PROJET
Major Spencer discussed the current situation of Easton Police Department’s building. He stated that they are beyond capacity.
Mr. Jernigan discussed potential liability issues of the current building. He discussed options for expansion versus a new building. The funds needed for the proposals were:
1) Prior to validation $6,142,000
2) Validated concept $7,163,000
3) Minimal impact $7,467,000
4) New and reuse $7,777,000
5) New and demolish $8,067,000
Mr. Ford stated that the Council needs to digest the proposals.

The President of the Council adjourned the Police Board meeting at 6:59 p.m.
