Fire Board Meeting
November 21, 2005
Councilmember Leonard E. Wendowski, Sr.
Also in attendance were Kathy Ruf for the Town Clerk and Mr. Kelly Jones and David Timms from Easton Volunteer Fire Department.
At 6:00 p.m., the President of the Council called the meeting to order.
MEETING
Ms. Scott-Taylor arrived at 6:07 p.m.
Mr. Jones discussed membership and the demand for services with the increase in fire calls.
The President of the Council discussed the Council looking at property tax rates.
Mr. Ford asked that the Fire Department do a five year projection for the Council including expected major expenses.
Mr. Jones asked if the impact fees were coming to the Town and if so, were they helping with expenses.
The Town Clerk is to review a request from JOB Construction to submit the substation project to a construction Hall of Fame.
Mr. Wendowski asked the Fire Department to estimate a cost per run for fire calls to submit to the county for additional funds due to the cost of fuel prices.
Mayor Willey discussed the county’s contributions for Talbot County fire companies.

The President of the Council adjourned the Fire Board meeting at 6:18 p.m.
