TOWN OF EASTON, MARYLAND CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION

 

TIME & PLACE:  April 4, 2005; 5:45 p.m., Town Council’s Chambers.

 

PURPOSE:      1) Before a contract is awarded or bids are opened, discuss a matter directly related to a negotiating strategy or the contents of a bid or proposal, if public discussion or disclosure would adversely impact the ability of the public body to participate in the competitive bidding or proposal process.

                        2) Any other personnel matter that affects one or more specific individuals.

                        3) Consult with counsel to obtain legal advice.

PRESENT AT CONVENING: Mayor Robert C. Willey, President of the Council Mr. Ford, Ms. Scott-Taylor, Mr. Jensen, Mr. Wendowski and Ms. Jackson-Amis. Also in attendance were the Town Attorney Mr. Kehoe and Town Clerk Mr. Karge.

Discussion occurred regarding the determination of surplus property.

 

 

POLICE PERSONNEL

 

The Town Attorney discussed a recent complaint regarding Easton Police Department.

 

WEST GLENWOOD AVENUE AMEMDED ORDINANCE AND RESOLUTIONS

 

The Town Attorney distributed amended resolutions and an ordinance for the West Glenwood Annexation and the legal reason for the amendments.

 

LOWES

 

Discussion occurred regarding re-opening Lowe’s public hearing.

 

ADJOURNMENT

 

The President of the Council adjourned the Executive Session at 6:52 p.m.
