Robert F. Karge, Town Clerk; Talbot County Council members Peter Carroll, Hillary Spence, Philip Carey Foster, Hope Harrington, County Manager Andy Hollis and Talbot County Engineer Ray Clark.

Also in attendance were Town Engineer Tim Glass, Assistant Town Engineer Joe Gruber, Town Planner Tom Hamilton, President and CEO Easton Utilities Hugh Grunden, Senior Vice President James Silvius and Water and Wastewater Department Manager M. Gerald Adams.

CONVENING

The Mayor and Council met in a workshop meeting at 5:00 p.m. at the Easton Town Office at the request of President of the Council Willey in an effort to better understand the current capacity and allocation process for the Easton Wastewater Treatment Facility, as well as to obtain some further clarification on the Talbot County Comprehensive Water and Sewer Plan, and its implications for Town landowners.

DISCUSSION

The Town Engineer discussed outline items.

Discussion occurred on typical build out over periods and length of expected capacity of existing system.

Mr. Grunden stated that the build out would be in approximately 6.3 years.

Ms. Jackson-Amis arrived at 5:30 p.m.

Discussion occurred of allocation possibilities.

Discussion occurred of population projections and equivalent measures.

Discussion occurred of potential max capacities, limitations, etc.

ADJOURNMENT

At 6:07 p.m., the President of the Council adjourned the workshop session.
