TOWN OF EASTON, MARYLAND CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION

TIME & PLACE: 6:41 P.M., March 4, 2002, Easton Town Council Chambers.

PURPOSE: Consider a matter that concerns the proposal for a business or industrial organization to locate, expand, or remain in the State.

VOTE TO CLOSE: Unanimous

CITATION: State of Maryland Annotated Code, Section 10-508(a)(4).

PRESENT: Council President R. Willey, Council members J. Ford, S. Jensen, C. Reed, M. Jackson-Amis, Mayor C. Eugene Butler, Town Attorney C. Kehoe and Talbot County Economic Development Coordinator Durrie Hayes.

Mr. Hayes discussed the recent meetings with Black and Decker regarding their layoffs.

The President of the Council declared the meeting adjourned at 6:58 P.M.
