TOWN OF EASTON, MARYLAND CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION

TIME & PLACE: 8:13 P.M., August 6, 2001, Easton Town Council Chambers.

PURPOSE: To consider matters that concern the purchase/sale real estate, legal advice, negotiations and personnel.

VOTE TO CLOSE: Unanimous

CITATION: State of Maryland Annotated Code, Section 10-508(a)(3), Section 10-508(a) (14), Section 10-508(a)(3) and 14, Section 10-508(a)(1).

PRESENT: Council President R. Willey, Council members J. Ford, S. Jensen, C. Reed, M. Jackson-Amis, Mayor C. Butler, Town Engineer T. Glass and Town Attorney C. Kehoe.

The Town Attorney briefed on the meeting with Secretary Tregoing on July 18.

The Town Attorney discussed the meeting with the Maryland Department of Environment.

Discussion occurred on the negotiations with Coca-Cola for exclusive marketing rights.

The Council discussed personnel issues related to the Easton Police Department.

There being no further business, Mr. Ford made a motion to adjourn the Executive Session, seconded by Mr. Reed and carried.

The President of the Council declared the meeting adjourned at 9:44 P.M.
