TOWN OF EASTON, MARYLAND CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION
TIME & PLACE: 8:06 P.M., October 4, 1999, Easton Town Council Chambers.
PURPOSE: To consider a matter that concerns the proposal for a business to locate, expand, or remain in the State; consult with staff about litigation and to consult with counsel to obtain legal advice.
VOTE TO CLOSE: Unanimous
CITATION: State of Maryland Annotated Code §10-508(4), §10-508(8), §10-508(7).
PRESENT: Council President R. Willey, Council members J. Ford, G. Mayer, C. Reed, H. Hoyt Heinmuller, Mayor C. Butler, Town Engineer T. Glass, Chief G. Harvey, Town Attorney C. Kehoe, T. Hamilton.
At 8:06 P.M., the Council went into Executive Session to discuss concerns related to the proposal for a business or industrial organization to locate, expand, or remain in the State.
Mr. Kehoe briefed the Council on pending or potential litigation.
The Town Council consulted with counsel to obtain legal advice.
The President of the Council declared the meeting adjourned at 8:27 P.M.
