SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING

January 20, 1999

The Town Council of the Town of Easton met today at 5:30 P.M. The meeting was called to order by the President with the following members present: Mr. Ford, Mrs. Clem and Mr. Heinmuller. Also attending the meeting were the Mayor.

The meeting was called to order at 5:30 P.M. The Town Clerk briefed the Council on the audit report.

Mrs. Martha Detwiler of Beatty and Satchell LLC, joined the meeting at approximately 5:33 P.M. and briefed the Council on highlights of the audit.

Mr. Steve Osche of Beatty and Satchell LLC joined the meeting at approximately 5:37 P.M. and also briefed the Council on audit highlights.

The Council discussed the bad debt write-off and the allowance for doubtful accounts and indicated that these balances should be reduced due to uncollectibility of some of the very old allowances. Inter-fund receivables were discussed.

The President of the Council adjourned the meeting at approximately 6:35 P.M.
