TIME & PLACE: 6:00P.M., February 2, 1998, Easton Town Council Chambers.

PURPOSE: To consider a matter that concerns business or industrial organization.

VOTE TO CLOSE: Unanimous

CITATION: State of Maryland Annotated Code, Section §10-508(4).

PRESENT: Council President R. Willey, Council members J. Ford, H. Heinmuller; Mayor C. Eugene Butler, the Town Engineer, Assistant Town Engineer Mr. Lineberry, the Town Attorney Mr. Kehoe, Assistant Town Attorney Mr. Stephen Kehoe and Mr. Durrie Hayes of the Talbot County Office of Economic Development.

Mr. Hayes discussed a proposal relating to a Talbot County business.

Mrs. Clem joined the meeting at 6:03 P.M. Mr. Mayer joined the meeting at approximately 6:15 P.M.

At 6:30 P.M., Mr. Hayes departed.

Discussion was held regarding a proposal previously submitted to the Council.

The Mayor asked for Council consensus in a matter related to the Firemen’s Annual Banquet.

All staff members departed except for Assistant Town Attorney Steve Kehoe. The Town Attorney briefed the Town Council on a personnel matter.

The President of the Council declared the meeting adjourned at 6:50 P.M.
