The Easton Police Department has certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPST), available to check the installation of your child safety seat, to help you install a new child safety seat, and to educate parents on child passenger safety. This is a free service to the public.

Each of our certified technicians has been through a standardized 32-hour training course created by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). This course provided our technicians with the knowledge and hands-on practice enabling them to develop child passenger safety technical skills, to identify and correct misuse of child safety seats, and to educate others on the proper use of child safety seats. Technicians go through a mandatory recertification process every two years.

Our Child Passenger Safety Technicians are dedicated to seeing that every child has the safest ride possible.
