The Mayor and Council met in a workshop session at 6:15 p.m. in the downstairs Town office conference room.
WORKSHOP MEETING
Mayor Willey updated on the Safeway meeting.
The Town Attorney arrived at 6:19 p.m.
Discussion occurred on potential actions and impacts.
The Town Clerk, Mr. Karge, briefed on budget carry fowards.
The Acting President of the Council set a Special Meeting for June 18 at 7:30 to discuss resolutions for loans and a permit application from Easton Police Department.
Mayor Willey briefed on the downstairs conference room. He stated that the office will be used for Director of Parks and Recreation, Mike Morse and Dudley Bostic’s office will move out into the Parks and Recreation office. He stated that he plans to install partitions in the downstairs conference room for offices.
Ms. Jackson-Amis discussed the Welcome Center space and stated that the Town is running out of space.
Mr. Jensen stated that the Town office is packing more services into the space.
The Town Attorney suggested that the Town do a needs analysis relative to Town office future space requirements.
Ms. Jackson-Amis stated that the Town needs to do an assessment and develop clear ideas.
At 6:52 p.m., there being no further discussion, the President of the Council adjourned the Workshop.
